N-Butylated Urea Resin

| Introduction |
PR-7472 is a partially nomal butylated
urea formaldehyde crosslinking resin with
a medium level of butylation and medium methyol
content.
This crosslinking agent has been designed for a
very fast cure, minimum shrinkage, coil coating
and plywood baking, air drying amino alkyd enamels
for good gloss, hardness and adhesion properties.
If you use weak organic or inorganic acid as additionally
catalyst to the formulation, you can get very effective
result.
Acid catalyzed coatings may be cured as low as 110?125
deg C for 15 minute.
To control the stability, you can use primary alcohols,
amines or with combination of these for neutralization
and PH adjustment.

| Storage |
If PR7472 is kept in tightly closed drums
or in storage tanks in the cool place, its shelf
life is 12 months
