resin is a very efficient crosslinking
agent for polymers containing
carboxyl, hydroxyl or amide
groups, such as epoxy, alkyd
and acrylic resins.
MELCROSS-85 crosslinking
agent was developed primarily
for electro-coating primers
requiring high corrosion and
detergent resistance.

has a properties of improved
salt-spray resistance, good
adhesion to metal surfaces.

for a can coating and electro
coating primers purpose.
Designed
for Can coating with polyester
and epoxy resin in high
viscosity type paints.
Methylated
high Imino type Benzoguanamine
resin gives Detergent
resistance, Improved salt-spray
resistance, Adhesion properties
to metal surfaces.
The
compatibility with alkyd resins,
polyester resins, acrylic resins
and epoxy resins is very good.
Storage
stability at room temperatures
is minimum one year after delivery.
To
control the stability, you can
use primary alcohols,
amins or with combination
of these for neutralization
and PH adjustment.
Electrocoating
paints containing MELCOSS-85
crosslinking agent have higher
throwing power than comparable
systems and this resin can be
used in the preparation of a
wide range of general
purpose industrial finishes.
