Epoxy Resin For Coil Coatings

| Introduction |
ER 7473 Resin solution is a 40wt.% solution of
an ultra high molecular weight epoxy resin.
ER 7473 Epoxy resin solution is primarily designed
for use in one pack stoving enamels in combination
with heat reactive cross-linking agents such as
amino- and phenol- formaldehyde resins or blocked
isocyanates.
Finishes made from ER 7473 resin are suitable for
metal decoration, interior and exterior can coatings,
tube and drum linings, coil primers and many other
industrial applications.
Cured coatings offer the hardness, flexibility,
toughness, adhesion and chemical resistance properties
of epoxy resins. Due to its high molecular weight,
this imparts improved film flexibility over standard
high molecular weight epoxy resins.
